How I Started
My passion began in 2006. In July of that year I was pregnant with my first baby and 2006 Lebanon war started. To distract me from the surroundings, my mom bought me my first Yarn magazine to encourage me to do clothes for my son.
I felt that this hobby gave me peace and it was a way for me to get out from the troubles of life.
I learned about the different kinds of yarns and what each kind is used for. Slowly I fell in love with this hobby and to my surprise I found out that a lot of people around me shared the same interest.
Turning Hobby in to a Business
In 2015, me & my mom opened a Yarn shop in Beirut and I supported her by organizing the shop, selecting the yarn products and accessories. This was the experience I was looking for as it gave me knowledge about this business and about the customers preferences and trends.
In 2017, I created my Instagram page @sara.crochet.lb and started posting my projects and I received a lot of positive comments and encouragement words from followers.
In December 2022, I launched my e-shop and here it is :)
